EDIT: DUE TO EXCESSIVE HEAT THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 07.13.24. Hope you can make it! Stay safe and stay cool!
You are cordially invited to help us create a large format hand painted negative that will be used to produce a durational sunbleached contact print. This project is inspired by Japeth Mennes’s painting, “Sun Bleach”, currently on view as a part of Big Ramp’s exhibition, “The Magic of the Sun Playing with the Moon”.
The collaborative negative will be anchored in a frame on top of a glow-in-the dark fluorescent ground and installed in our courtyard for a year-long exposure.
This event is free and open to all. Please note, the space is wheelchair accessible but there is no accessible bathroom.
Donations are appreciated. All funds go toward funding our ongoing community programming. Hope you can make it!
